In addition to being a licensed home inspector, I’ve had my real estate license in Wisconsin since in 2003, my broker’s license since 2005.. While working as a Realtor, I’ve attended hundreds of home inspections and I’ve seen just about any kind of home condition possible. Since incorporating Capitol Inspection Services, LLC I’ve conducted hundreds and hundreds of home inspections ranging from simple 1-bedroom condominiums, to multi-building foreclosure properties to 10,000 sq. ft. estates. My background as a Realtor prepared me for understanding the construction history of many homes and neighborhoods as well understanding the match between a property and a client.  

No matter who the client is, I am straightforward with everyone all the time.  It may not be what a client wants to hear initially, but in the end, everyone benefits when a spade is called a spade.  This means if I have a concern about a home’s component, I will discuss my observations with the client and suggest a considerate follow-up review.  I also won’t make a mountain out of a mole hill when discussing normal repair and maintenance items that comes along with owning a home.  My job isn’t to scare anyone, but rather to educate people on how the property functions and to help validate the decision to purchase.

Clients and Realtors ® appreciate my attention to detail and that I take the time to explain all my observations throughout the inspection, and to offer solutions for keeping your home in tip top condition. I compile all my observations and comments in an electronically delivered report. My narratives, digital and infrared photos and even video in the report will allow others to understand the condition of the property even if they were unable to attend the inspection in person.
